Enterkey

Works with the buzzer you already have

If your building's entry system dials a phone number, Enterkey can answer it. Find your panel below.

Most apartment buzzers installed in the last twenty years are telephone entry systems: the panel at the door dials a number the property manager keeps on file, and whoever answers presses a key to unlock. Enterkey works by giving your manager a virtual number to put in that directory slot. The brand on the panel matters less than that one question, and each page below answers it for the systems renters ask about most.

One-question test: does a visitor pressing your name make a phone ring? If yes, Enterkey works, whatever the brand. If your panel rings a wired handset inside the unit only, it needs a phone line added first, which the pages cover. Once you are set up, the same three steps apply to every system.
