Questions from property managers
Does it work with our buzzers?
If the entry panel calls a phone number for each unit, yes. That covers most telephone entry systems in Canada and the US, including Mircom, Linear, Enterphone, dial-out TekTone panels and most call boxes.
If a unit's buzzer only rings a wired handset inside the unit, there is no number to change, so Enterkey can't answer it.
How does the building manager update the directory?
They change one field per unit: the phone number stored against that unit in the entry panel's directory. It's usually done in the software or web portal they already use, or on the panel's keypad. Nothing is rewired.
When you go live, you send them every number in one message from your own email, and each buzzer shows as connected after its first real buzz.
What do residents need?
An iPhone with the Enterkey app. You invite them by email, and the invite joins them to their unit's buzzer in the app. The property's plan covers them, so there's nothing for them to buy.
You can invite them right away, even before their buzzer connects.
Can we add properties later?
Yes, any time. You see the exact prorated charge before you confirm, then one tap charges the card you saved at checkout.
Who can manage our properties?
You, plus any admins you invite. Invite them any time: admins manage keys and residents and see activity at every property in your business.
