Timed auto-unlock keys
A key is a named window of time when Enterkey answers your buzzer for you. While a key is active, a visitor buzzes, Enterkey picks up, plays your building's entry tone, and the door opens — nobody reaches for a phone. Keys run from five minutes to twelve hours, or forever when protected by a PIN.
How do keys work?
Create a key, name it — "Food Delivery", "Dinner Party" — and pick a duration: 5, 15, 30 or 45 minutes; 1, 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours. Tap it to arm it. A countdown shows exactly how long the door will handle itself, and when time's up, entry stops. No lingering access, nothing to remember to turn off.
Order food, tap your 30-minute delivery key, and go back to the couch: the courier buzzes, gets in, and your phone never rings. Every entry lands in your activity log.
What about a permanent key?
A Forever key never expires — and for exactly that reason, Enterkey requires a PIN on it. Visitors buzz, enter (or say) the PIN, and the door opens. Standing access stays deliberate, not accidental.
What happens when no key is active?
The buzzer works like it always has, only smarter: the call forwards to your phone (and your household's), you talk to the visitor, and you buzz them in with a tap. Keys are the automation layer on top — see how the whole system works.
